Nested in nature in the Himalayan mountains in spiritually enriched Buddhist Monastery You will get to know yourself on the deepest level of your being and to explore the different aspects of ourselves (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual) in order to bring them into union and that is the very purpose of YOGA.

MYSORE ASHTANGA YOGA WORKSHOP BY AJAY TOKAS, LEVEL 2 CERTIFIED ASHTANGA YOGA TEACHER
Pranamaya Yoga is pleased to host Ajay Tokas, a level 2 authorised Mysore Ashtanga Yoga teacher by Shri Sharat Jois for a 5 days Mysore intensive Ashtanga workshop. Practice Mysore Style with Ajay in this 5 days where he will be sharing details on asanas, pranayama and how to improve personal practice.
He teaches with a non dogmatic approach following the tradition as he has learnt in Mysore. Ajay’s adjustments are subtle and usually convey a strong message to students body and mind, so they can apply a more conscious approach in their practice.
Ajay has been practicing yoga for the last 16 years and Ashtanga Yoga since 2010. For the past 9 years he has travelled and taught Ashtanga Yoga in Asia, Russia, Europe and USA.
Workshop Plan :
3 hours Mysore style class ( Monday -Friday) 7:00 am -10:00 am
2 hours guided led class ( Saturday)
5 hours workshop (Saturday and Sunday afternoon)
Learn the classic principles of yogic backbends in a safe and effective way. Develop strength and flexibility in your spine. Starting with the basics we gradually work towards opening your shoulders, integrate your breathing, finding maximum awareness while lifting-up-into and dropping-back, helping your spine reach the full potential of health and flexibility. All Levels Welcome.
Jump back & Jump through
Fly or float, straight or bent arms, crossed or straight legs, lift up, hover .. but HOW?! Where to focus, what about strength, what to do? All the answers and more details about the practice, tips and techniques will be found in this workshop. Ajay will teach the elements of strength and how to further improve your movements in jump back and through. Leading to a gradual progress in balancing on your hands. All Levels Welcome.
