Yogatara (Lisa Alessandra)
My journey with Yoga began when I first arrived in Nepal 15 years ago. For me Yoga is a great love story, a way of life that has brought me to a deeper understanding of, and compassion for, myself, others and the world at large. It is Yoga’s gifts of balance, presence, and joy that I hope to share with those that come to my classes.
Currently I am the director of Isha, a centre of yogic learning and conscious living in Sanepa and work primarily as a therapist. I combine the tools of yoga and creative expression to help awaken the awareness and innate wisdom that bring about authentic wellbeing: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
In addition to Yoga, I spend my time as a freelance writer and mother:)
Education
