Inner healing and self care through Pranayama, meditation and singing bowls

“I envision the retreat weekend to focus on elements of learning and deep relaxation in a supportive ambiance such that the clients will have an opportunity to not only clear minds, heal hearts, but also gain new perspectives to deepen one’s meditative practices. For example, mornings will offer insights and practice sessions on yoga asanas combined with breathing techniques. Focusing on asana flows along with pranayama, we will delve into both conceptual and practical significance of masculine and feminine energies in our bodies, and observe how it helps maintain balance in our body, mind, and soul.
And, evenings will be a unique blend of asanas and guided candlelight meditation, where we will practice improving concentration using candle flames as a tool for focus (each person practices with their own candle). As candlelight meditation fosters mental stability, it also nicely complements yoga practices. I also plan to incorporate vibrations from playing Sound Bowls to these sessions and assist everyone in accessing their calmer and deeper meditative states.
