I have been practicing yoga for over 8 years. In June 2008 I attended Shoshoni Yoga Retreat in Colorado for the 200 hour Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training. After 3 weeks of intense study I emerged feeling completely renewed and blissful, with an even deeper love and understanding of yoga, and ready to share it with the world. I don’t adhere strictly to any one lineage, I’ve been lucky enough to have studied with many incredible teachers in America. My teaching style is influenced by Iyengar, Anusara, Prana Flow, and Ashtanga, among others. My goal as a teacher is to impart my love of yoga on my students, so that they may use it as a tool in their lives towards achieving mental calm and clarity, as well as physical strength and flexibility. To me yoga is much more than just physical fitness. It is about training your mind and body to work harmoniously, both on your mat and in your everyday life. It is about bringing your own highest potential to light, and developing positive energy to radiate outwards.
