Iyengar yoga

Chrissie: “I use different props and the walls during my varied and joyful classes. Each class has a special focus, like hip opening, opening the chest for back bends, etc. The class always ends with lying on the back and letting go of tension with each out-breath. In this way the body mind and spirit become calm and relaxed. My classes give an overal sense of well being which includes improved posture, flexibility, strength and enjoyment of life.”

Ellen: Following the Ashtanga teaching tradition, the class is led with a flowing rhythm and hands-on adjustments, with the aim both to create a wonderful energy in the room to uplift your practice, and to help prepare students for the next step in their Ashtanga practice: the Mysore style.
