Yin Yoga and Meditation

In this workshop you will learn how Yin yoga can be a powerful tool to get in touch with your nature, and understand the workings of your mind. Yin yoga is contemplative and grounding. It is a perfect place to begin an investigation into the more subtle movements of your body and mind. Explore the energy centres in the body through guided meditation and connect with your inner elements in order to experience a deeper healing effect in your practice

In Yoga philosophy the physical body is a manifestation of the elements. In practice we experience the elements as energy. In our bodies these are the physical energies that pump our blood, digest our food, and fire our neurons. The more subtle manifestion of this energy arises as prana. Prana is vitality, it is our life force.

Understanding the inner universe and the subtle expression of energy within the body brings health and balance. This workshop will provide you with tools to understand the interconnectedness between mind and body, the interconnectedness between the external environment and the inner elements. These are powerful methods to heal and transform our lives.
