Inviting our bodies into our stories. Exploring the wisdom of our bodies through wisdom and storytelling.
Moving Stories’ is a two-hours workshop, which invites you to engage with your body and personal growth through exploring the intersections of body, individual- and collective stories. It offers an introduction and exploration of your embodiment of story in this world, together with nurturing your presence, creativity and mindfulness.
Using traditional mythology and movement this workshop is an opportunity for inner stillness and introspection; to explore your individual story through the lenses of mythology and somatic experience and to discover new insights, perspectives and narratives on what used to be in- or less visible before. As such, story becomes a form of yoga, which is being explored, experienced, expanded and integrated into daily experience and practice off the mat.
Please be mindful that though there may be therapeutic elements to this workshop, it is not therapy in itself. No previous knowledge or experience on storytelling, performing arts or Yoga is needed and it is not expected that you will share your life-stories with other participants.
