Hatha yoga is a traditional method to bring awareness to the physical body as well as the inner energetic body. The sun and moon refer to the inner opposing energies within our universe and our body. The practice of postures allows you to clear tightness and experience openness in mind and body. One progresses through the outer identification of body towards an inward understanding of the subtle experiences of mind. Hatha classes are generally more slow paced and available to beginners and seasoned practitioners.
