Emily: “My classes are based strongly on alignment and encouraging the body to make new imprints, to abandon old behavioural patterns and develop new, healthier ones. I tailor each class to the students, designing them around specific themes or working towards a more challenging pose with elements of stretching, relaxing and playing. I strive to build confidence in my students and to motivate them to reach their potential.
Even within a group setting I give individual support with clear verbal instructions and physical adjustments for every student. I design each class to be different and to encourage each of the students in the class to develop and deepen their practice, whilst also providing what their minds and bodies need to restore and replenish. My classes are inclusive and welcoming to all, at every level of practice.”
