Ayurveda, nutrition and cooking workshop in Pokhara

Ayurveda is a holistic Indian medicine system and philosophy which guides us to live a healthier and more balanced lifestyle. It recognises that we are all unique and focuses on food, lifestyle, massage, yoga and herbal remedies to support the health and wellbeing according to our individual make-up.
Increasingly gaining attention beyond its Indian roots, more and more people are taking an interest to visit an ayurvedic doctor in order to define their body type and to learn how to live in balance with their system to maximise their health. This workshop takes a look specifically at the role of nutrition in maintaining and restoring this balance.
We will begin our discussion on Ayurveda and nutrition, including:
- Taking a test to define our body type according to Ayurveda
- Analysing the ayurvedic body types
- Nutrition recommendations according to our body type
- How we can use nutrition to optimise our health and balance.
But it’s not just theory! We will prepare a delicious vegetarian dish and continue our discussion while “stirring pots”. And once it’s ready, we’ll enjoy it together for our lunch.
