Do the Stars affect our life and how? – Astrology workshop with Thanos
March 23, 2014 @ 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm| 1,350 rupees (or 1,000 rupees for members holding a valid membership card)
Jupiter is the planet of travelling, knowledge and wisdom. Considered a benevolent planet, Jupiter has recently turned direct, meaning that now is the time when travelling and learning plans will be most effective. At the same time, the 21st March signifies the beginning of a new astrological year: the most auspicious time to take on new ideas, learning and challenges. So capitalize on that and take this opportunity to learn about what astrology is and how the Stars can affect our life.
In this workshop we will explore the 12 signs and their characteristics. We will learn about the planets and what their movements can cause. Combining the knowledge of both, we will begin diving into our charts and try to find how our birth planetary positions affect the way we think, feel, act, respond, choose, flirt, love, work…
Some current tendencies for each individual chart will be discussed towards the end of the workshop. As part of the workshop, you will receive your own birth chart and gain some introductory skills in interpreting it. There is no need for prior Astrology knowledge.
We may have seen information and “predictions” about our sign in mass media, but the best way to empower ourselves is to have the experience and knowledge, and to have insight on the unique chart that influences us as individuals. Only then our choices and decisions are wiser and more beneficial and rewarding.
You are most welcome to this journey!!!
Astrology explores the meaningful connection between mankind and the wider cosmos, the relationship between the movements of the planets and the inner world of human consciousness and motivation. It has been studied and practised for thousands of years and has played an important, and often central, role in the scientific, medical, philosophical, literary and psychological traditions of cultures all over the world.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come basis, so please sign up now. We will request the details of the date, time and (nearest) city of your birth in advance of the workshop.
